Meet Dr. Taesu Pak
Dr. Taesu Pak’s journey to dentistry began in the Bay Area of California, inspired by his father’s work as a general dentist. After earning a BS in Biology from Santa Clara University and a DDS from the University of Detroit Mercy, he made Michigan his home, thanks in part to meeting his wife and falling in love with the community. Now, with over six years of experience and a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), Dr. Pak brings both clinical expertise and a personal passion for excellence to his practice in Auburn Hills.
Driven by the belief that dentistry should be as comforting as it is effective, Dr. Pak designed Pak Dental as a space where patients feel welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for. He takes pride in bridging the gap between clinical skill and customer service, ensuring that every detail, from scheduling to care delivery, feels smooth and thoughtful. His approach combines advanced tools like CBCT and iTero scanning with the warmth of everyday gestures like chapstick, noise-cancelling headphones, and Netflix during appointments.
Dr. Pak especially enjoys working with patients who feel uncertain or overwhelmed by dental decisions. Whether it’s planning a crown or exploring Invisalign, he works collaboratively with each person so they feel informed, confident, and in control. His favorite part? Helping someone go from hesitant to hopeful, and ultimately, to happy with their smile.
Outside the office, Dr. Pak enjoys golfing, running, and spending time with his wife and three kids. He’s also known for capturing DIY content for the practice’s social media with an iPhone in hand and a sense of humor intact.
To Dr. Pak, every patient deserves care that goes above and beyond expectations. Pak Dental is his “legacy move”, his way of doing dentistry differently by walking the walk and delivering a level of service most only talk about.
